Phone. For anything urgent it's the only channel worth using — email isn't monitored continuously and an active sewage backup shouldn't wait in an inbox.
What should I have ready when I call?
Your address, what you're seeing above ground, when it started, and whether it tracks rainfall. That last detail alone often tells us whether you have a sewer problem or a drainage one.
Can you quote underground work by email?
Rarely, and we'd be doing you a disservice to try. Sewer and excavation pricing depends on depth, path, and what's on the surface, none of which we can judge from photos. We'll happily talk it through by phone and tell you what an inspection would involve.
If I smell gas, should I call you?
Not first. Leave the building, don't operate switches, and call 911 or your gas utility's emergency line from outside. They handle the emergency response. Call us afterward for the repair.
